Rajasthan District-Level Tournaments – Ongoing Sporting Achievements

The ongoing Rajasthan District-Level Tournaments have provided our students with an excellent platform to showcase their sporting talent, competitive spirit, and teamwork. Our students are participating enthusiastically across various disciplines and are putting up commendable performances.

⚽ Football – Strong Performance in Group Stage

Our Football teams have made an impressive start to the tournament, performing strongly in the group-stage matches. Their disciplined play, teamwork, and determination have helped them progress further in the competition.

The performances so far have been particularly encouraging, with two of our teams reaching the Semi-Finals, while one team has secured a place in the Finals. The teams are continuing their efforts with confidence and are looking forward to the upcoming matches.

♟️ Chess – Promising Individual Performances

Our students are also participating in the Chess competition, where two students have been performing well and demonstrating good strategic thinking, concentration, and competitive spirit. Their performances reflect the growing interest and talent in individual sports among our students.

🏐🏀 More Teams Yet to Participate

The sporting action is not over yet. Three more teams are scheduled to participate in the upcoming Volleyball and Basketball competitions. These teams are prepared to represent the school with the same enthusiasm, discipline, and sportsmanship.

The ongoing tournament has been a wonderful opportunity for our students to compete at the district level, gain valuable experience, and bring pride to the school. We wish all our participating teams the very best for their upcoming matches and look forward to more outstanding performances.

Mathematics: My Favorite Subject

While many students find maths challenging, it is my favourite subject. For others, it may seem boring or difficult, but when I solve maths problems, I feel excited to learn new topics. To me, maths is a way of understanding the world and a reminder to never give up.

When I start a new topic, I may find it difficult at first, but once I understand it completely, it feels like a piece of cake. Whenever I start a question and cannot solve it, I feel motivated to complete it no matter how much time it takes. Maths is not only about memorising formulas but also about understanding the logic behind them.

Maths also teaches that we cannot achieve everything easily and that we must work hard to succeed, whether it is solving a question or achieving our dreams. It teaches us patience because just as maths problems need step-by-step solutions, life problems require calm thinking and careful decisions.

In the end, I would like to say that maths may seem like a tough subject, but it is much more than that. It not only teaches us how to find x but also gives us many valuable life lessons. 

Math is a world of wonder and play. It helps us solve problems every day. Math is found everywhere and every day!

My Goal is to Become a Basketball Player

My goal in life is to become a basketball player. Since my childhood, I have loved playing basketball. When I see basketball players on TV, I get inspired.

Basketball is not just a game for me; it is my passion. It teaches me teamwork, discipline, and hard work. A basketball player needs to be physically fit and mentally strong. 

To achieve my goal, I practice daily. I wake up early in the morning and go to the court for practice. I am working on my shooting, dribbling, and fitness. I also watch matches of my favourite players like LeBron James. I can achieve my dream.

One day, I want to make my parents and my country proud by playing at a national level.

Interview with Ms. Prerna Pahadia(Educator)

RP: Tell us something about yourself.

PPA: My name is Prerna Pahadia, and I belong to Bali. I completed my schooling up to Class 12 in Maharashtra. After that, I pursued an integrated B.A. B.Ed. course. I have also qualified for CTET and REET.

RP: How would you improve a child's vocabulary?

PPA: I will make vocabulary a part of their daily lives instead of rote learning. I will show them real-life examples and engage them with fun vocabulary games. I feel the most important thing is using the words in their daily lives so they can remember them.

RP: If your classroom had a personality, what would you want it to be known for?

PPA: I would like my classroom to have a personality that is curious, interactive, and positive.

RP: If your teaching career was a movie, which scene would represent you as a teacher?

PPA: If my teaching career were a movie, I would choose a scene from Hichki where the teacher refuses to give up on students whom others have already judged.

RP: If you could remove one fear that children have about learning English, what would it be?

PPA: I would remove the fear of making mistakes. I have seen that many children know the answer but hesitate to speak because they are afraid that someone might laugh at their English or that the teacher might scold them for making mistakes.

RP: How do you give feedback to young learners?

PPA: I believe feedback should encourage children rather than discourage them. Especially with primary students, I use simple words like ‘Very good’ or ‘Excellent,’ and sometimes I appreciate their efforts with a round of applause from the class. It makes them feel happy and confident, and it motivates them to participate more and work harder.

Pre-Primary Report

The certificates of the winners of the Fancy Dress Competition were presented by their respective class teachers. The winners are from class 1, Aarush, Disha, Krishiv, Tejas Nibbas, Avantika, Jinisha, Divyangna. From class UKG Yuvraj, Vedansh, Sayali, Chetna.

From LKG Saransh, Vanshika, Ananya, Hiyansh, Vanpal, Hassan, Himanshi and from Nursery Liza, Hiyansh, Sourya, Pauravi, Kritiraj, Vedanshi, Ruchika, Bhuvneshwari and Kunjal.

To develop Hindi reading skills, the UKG class conducted the activity “Pick and Read.” The children picked chits, read the Hindi words written on them, and framed sentences using the given words.

The Nursery children participated in a letter-recognition activity. They identified the given letters and stamped them with colours, making the learning experience fun and engaging.

Learning Beyond Classrooms | Fun, Participation & Teamwork

Saturday at The Fabindia School was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and meaningful learning as students across all three sections participated in engaging activities designed to develop communication, confidence, teamwork, and practical skills.

Primary Section – Action Words Charades

The Primary Section participated in an exciting Action Words Charades activity that focused on learning verbs in both English and Hindi.

Students were given chits containing different action words. One student picked a chit and acted out the word without directly saying it, while the others tried to identify the action. Students were also encouraged to explain the meaning of the action word in English and Hindi.

The activity turned learning into a fun and interactive experience. Students enthusiastically participated, enjoyed guessing the actions, and strengthened their vocabulary while learning through movement and expression.

Middle Section – News Reporting: Young Field Reporters

The Middle Section took part in an engaging News Reporting Class Activity, where students stepped into the roles of young journalists and news professionals.

Teams were formed within the classes, and students took on different responsibilities involved in news reporting. They worked together to present news reports, developing their communication skills, confidence, observation, teamwork, and presentation abilities.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to experience how a news report is created and presented, making the learning process both practical and enjoyable.

Senior Section – Inter-House Volleyball Competition

The Senior Section witnessed an exciting Inter-House Volleyball Competition, where students displayed excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, determination, and competitive spirit.

The matches were filled with energy and enthusiasm as the houses competed for the top positions. After a spirited competition, the results were:

🥈 2nd Position – Gandhi House

🥉 3rd Position – Raman House

Students thoroughly enjoyed the matches and cheered for their respective houses. The competition encouraged a healthy sporting spirit while highlighting the importance of teamwork, discipline, coordination, and perseverance.

Learning Through Experience

The Activity Saturday successfully brought together language learning, communication, creativity, and sports. From acting out verbs to reporting news and competing on the volleyball court, students learned important skills while actively participating and having fun.

It was truly a Saturday where learning met enjoyment, and every activity became an opportunity to grow!

Books are one of the best sources of knowledge. Reading books helps us learn new things and understand the world better. It also improves our vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills.

Reading is especially important for students. It helps us concentrate better and improves our memory. Storybooks also make reading enjoyable and help us develop creativity and imagination.

Books can teach us about different people, places, cultures, and ideas. They can also inspire us to work hard and achieve our goals. Reading for even 15–20 minutes every day can become a good habit.

In today’s world, students spend a lot of time on mobile phones. We should make some time for books too. A good book can be our best friend because it gives us knowledge and never gets tired of teaching us.

Therefore, everyone should develop the habit of reading books. A good book can make our mind wiser, our imagination stronger, and our future brighter.

RP: What do you enjoy most about teaching young children?

DAT: I enjoy playing games and spending time with young children. I also like doing random and fun activities with them, as it makes learning enjoyable.

RP: How do you use play-based learning in your classroom?

DAT: I use real-life examples and different objects to make learning easier. For example, I use balls and other things to teach shapes and concepts like big and small. These activities also help children improve their writing skills.

RP: What activities can develop a child's motor skills?

DAT: Playing and doing different activities with children can help develop their motor skills. I participate in activities with them and motivate them to try new things.

RP: What is more important—discipline or happiness in a primary classroom?

DAT: At a young age, I feel happiness is more important. Children should have a happy and positive learning environment so that they can learn and grow comfortably.

 Teachers’ Day Special 

"गुरु केवल ज्ञान ही नहीं देते, बल्कि जीवन को सही दिशा देने का साहस और संस्कार भी देते हैं।

शिक्षक वे दीपक हैं, जो स्वयं जलकर अनगिनत जीवनों को रोशन करते हैं।"

The Fabindia School celebrated Teachers’ Day on 05th September 2025 with great enthusiasm, joy, and heartfelt appreciation for its dedicated teaching fraternity. 

The celebration was uniquely planned to make the teachers feel special and to give them a well-deserved break from their regular routines.

The day began with a special initiative where the students conducted the entire morning assembly. Following this, the responsibility of managing the school for the day was handed over to the students of Class XII, who efficiently took charge of various school duties. This provided the students with an opportunity to experience the responsibilities and challenges of teachers and school administration.

The Teachers’ Day celebration programme began with a warm and cheerful welcome for all the teachers. The entire event was designed around the concept of a Gamified Teachers’ Day, ensuring that the teachers could relax, laugh, participate, and simply enjoy the day together.

A variety of exciting and entertaining games were organised exclusively for the teachers, including:

• Bottle in the Straw
• Who Am I?
• Balloon Line
• Back-to-Back Drawing
• Chocolate in the Cup

Each game brought immense laughter, excitement, and healthy competition among the teachers. The enthusiasm and sporting spirit displayed by everyone truly made the celebration memorable. Winners of each game were also rewarded with special hidden gifts, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the occasion.

One of the most heartwarming highlights of the celebration was the special effort made by the students of Class XII. They designed personalised photographs for every teacher, along with a suitable, unique tagline that reflects their personality, teaching style, or contribution to the school. These photographs were beautifully framed and presented as gifts to the respective teachers. It was truly a wonderful sight to witness the smiles and happiness on every teacher's face upon receiving such a thoughtful and personalised token of appreciation.

The celebration was filled with laughter, bonding, appreciation, and unforgettable moments. It was a day where the teachers stepped away from their usual responsibilities and became participants in a celebration dedicated entirely to them.

The programme concluded with an inspiring address by the Principal Ma’am, who appreciated the dedication, commitment, and hard work of all the teachers. She acknowledged their invaluable contribution to shaping students' lives and strengthening the school's values and vision.

Overall, Teachers’ Day 2026 was a truly memorable celebration, enjoyed wholeheartedly by everyone. The event beautifully reflected the spirit of gratitude, respect, teamwork, and the special bond shared between teachers and students.

RP: Can you introduce yourself?

KVV: My name is Khushi Vaishnav, and I’m from Jalore. I have completed my B.A., B.Ed., and M.A. I have also participated in two international conferences and one national conference in Jaipur. Along with that, I have qualified for UGC NET in Geography and CTET.

RP: What activities would you use to develop speaking skills?

KVV: I would try to have conversations with people who are interesting and make me feel comfortable and relaxed during the conversation. Secondly, for good speaking skills, your reading skills must also be good. To improve your reading, you should also work on your listening skills.

RP: What is important for students: correcting grammar or confidence in speaking? Why?

KVV: Both things are important and complementary to each other. Once you have a good understanding of grammar, your confidence in speaking will also improve.

RP: How would you like to grow professionally while working with the students?

KVV: I grow professionally when I teach students, and they ask me curious questions, even when I don’t know the answers. Then, I search for the answers, and this helps me learn and grow.

RP: Is there anything about our school that particularly impressed you?

KVV: The biggest attraction is its surroundings and environment, which always feel fresh. The trees and gardens are very attractive. The place behind the office is my favourite because it has a lot of flowers, and their fragrance keeps me feeling fresh.

RP: If your teaching career was a book, what would you name the first chapter and the current chapter?

KVV: If my teaching career were a book, I would name it “Journey of a Small-Town Girl.” The first chapter would be “Explorer,” and the current chapter would be “Learner.”

RP: What is something that students can teach a teacher?

KVV: I have very little patience, so my students teach me patience. When I enter the classroom, I have a responsibility towards my students, so patience is something they have taught me.
